Greener Lyfe Farm is a bold attempt towards creation of an agricultural eco-system around the Bhutanese farming culture.
Base One is a 3.6-acre experimental farm at Paro with the whole focus not only on growing vegetables and crops but also a ground of experimentation of exploring innovative ideas to help create a more resilient modern farm, resilient from the changing economies, the changes climate and the needs of the market. Modernization has failed to give us the contentment and connection with nature; so we built a farm that provides products and services to enable a healthier experience of Lyfe.
The phrase “farming 2.0” is what we would like to call for the new ways of thinking about how we perceive our farms and what can be achieved on our farms across our nation. Every product we raise or services we function are designed in a way that tends to our modern needs while also sustainable for the environment and healthy to our body and mind.
Greener Lyfe Farm was formed for farming beyond crops and with the hope of redefining our traditional farms.
